A Rich, Abundant Life

Hello friends!

Want to know the secret of the truly wealthy? I'm going to share it here with you. No it's not a giant bank account, multiple streams of investments or get rich quick schemes. The secret to true wealth is contentment. No amount of money can buy you contentment. Though, many have tried that approach and failed. Having contentment in your life results in you feeling abundant beyond all measure. As it says in Hebrews 13:5, "Keep your life free from the love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

The more we feel thankful for what we have, the more contentment we will experience. I've noticed in my own life that the more I focus on my abundant life, the even more abundant it becomes! Gratefulness for what we already have curbs the "more, more, more" mindset. Timothy 6:6 shares the wisdom that, "But godliness with contentment is great gain, for we brought nothing into the world, and we cannot take anything out of the world."

I thank God every day for every blessing in my life- big and small. I like to think back on all the things I have now that I used to pray for. If you get into a practice of being thankful for everything you have, your life will change. Your contentment will increase. Your life will become richly abundant. You will be living your own dream come true.
